NEWSWATCH35 is a student produced, student run newscast that airs once a week on Hofstra Cable. I had the pleasure of helping to begin Newswatch with Hofstra's RTDNA chapter. We write and edit our own stories, create our own lower thirds and graphics, and send field reporters into the surrounding area to cover local news. I had the pleasure to work on all aspects of this show, from production to graphics, to field reporting and anchoring. Since the show is completely put together and run by students, i've gained hands on experience that will ultimately benefit me in the long run. |
